Esther is 13 years old.
Her favorite color is white, and she is always
smiling and laughing!
Her favorite pastime is to read the Bible.
Esther is part of the Karen people group.
She is a single orphan. Her father was killed by the Burma army. Her mother and step-brother still live in Burma.
Esther lives at The Refuge, a Children’s Home
in a Refugee Camp on the Thai/Burma border.
When she grows up she wants to be a nurse,
so that she can take care of people.
